Shrewsbury High School Fall Play, Gossamer, November 4th & 5th

The Shrewsbury High School Performing Arts Department is excited to present Gossamer. Adele Fuzaylov is playing the role of The Young Woman in this production.

Gossamer runs on November 4th and 5th at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets will be sold at the door only for $15 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens.  For more information or questions, please contact theatre@shrewsbury.k12.ma.us.

Where do dreams come from?  What stealthy nighttime messengers are the guardians of our most deeply hidden hopes and our half-forgotten fears?  Drawing on her rich imagination, two-time Newbery winner Lois Lowry confronts these questions and explores the conflicts between the gentle bits and pieces of the past that come to life in dreams, and the darker horrors that find their form in nightmares.  This haunting story tiptoes between reality and the imagination.  We follow two people – a lonely woman and an angry boy – facing their own pasts.  On their journey, they discover what they can be to one another, renewed by the strength that comes from tiny, caring creatures they will never see.
